Towards the end of last year I published a series of short photo essays on this site called Neighborhood Studies. It was a way for me to test out a few ideas I had about visual storytelling, specifically in combining my landscape and street photography work. This experiment led to the redesign of my professional portfolio and a new approach to my documentary work.
