Downtown Los Angeles is one of the most photographed parts of the city. People gravitate towards the area because it’s one of the relatively few places here you can find a large number of people in a small space. For me this presents a challenge, to photograph it in a way that’s goes beyond the surface but captures some of what gives Downtown its identity.
